AIRBAG SYSTEM 3.0
The new Alpride 3.0 cartridge airbag system is an evolution of the 1.0 and 2.0 systems.
This new system benefits from our 15 years of experience and expertise in avalanche airbags.
Like its predecessors, the 3.0 is a purely mechanical system characterized by its simplicity, Lightweight design, and durability.

The new Alpride 3.0 system is more compact than its predecessor, the 2.0, and is also 60g lighter.
3.0 TECHNOLOGY
Thanks to our patented gas injection system, the 3.0 airbag achieves the best performance on the market.
Out of the 150 liters of airbag volume, only 38 liters come from the cartridges, the remaining 112 liters air drawn in by the 3.0 system. This unique feature explains why the 3.0 is so compact and lightweight.
The 3.0 system is certified according to the EN16716:2017 standard.
GREEN INDICATOR
READY TO USE
To load the system, use the two small tools provided, and the green indicator will appear. Screw in the two cartridges to the inflator, and the 3.0 airbag system is ready for the winter season.
The system 3.0 is only ready for use if the green indicator is visible.
2 CARTRIDGES
100% ARGON
TOTAL 410g
The 100% Argon gas ensures optimal performance in extremely low temperatures. These single-use, non-rechargeable cartridges are recyclable with regulard metal wast. Designed as « lifejacket » cartridges, they are among the safest on the market. Thanks to their welded membranes, they are 100 Leakproof and have a livespan of 10 years.
Their production complies with the higest safety standards.

5 ATTACHMENT HOOKS
TO BACKPACK
The airbag features five attachment hooks to the backpack, ensuring strength above the EN16716:2017 standard.
500 kg : Force achieved during load testing (Testing the connection between the airbag and the mannequin wearing the backpack).
DEFLATING THE AIRBAG
Use the reload tool to press the non-return valve to deflate the airbag. By turning the toll a ¼ turn, it remains in the deflatin position, making it easy to deflate and fold the airbag.

3.0 HANDLE
The 3.0 handle sets a standard for ergonomics- adjustable in height to suit your size, with a flexible handle mount to avoid pressure points on the backpack strap. It is also easy to grab with either the right or left hand.
